Draw a stroke anywhere on the circle and its shape decides what it is: straight and outward is a push, straight and inward is a pull, a wide sweep spreads, a tight scribble crushes. A pause of over a second lets you add more strokes to the same sign before it locks in, since most of these are drawn from a few parts, not one line.
